Coming from the small town of Mosjøen, Norwegian DJ and producer Marvico has lived most of his life on the arctic cusp. Marvico got into DJ'ing in 2016, after seing Tiësto live in Bodø.
After building a reputation as a well-rounded club DJ, the then 20-year old wanted to pursue music production to release his own music. After a year at Rødde Folkehøgskole outside of Trondheim, Marvico had learned the basics of music production, and had released his debut single 'One to Lose' together with US vocalist Tamara.
In August 2018, just a year after starting music production, Marvico got the chance to play at Parken 2018, a festival which he shared with Zara Larsson, Alan Walker, and MØ. This fueled his desire to pursue music more seriously, and the Norwegian followed up with the single 'No Stopping Us' in late 2018.
Following the success of 'You (Therapy)' in 2019, Marvico played the festival Opptur the same year.
2020 held big plans and dreams for the still young and promising producer, but the Covid-19 pandemic changed the arithmetic for not only the artist, but the whole world.
The artist now found himself, like many others, in a strange place. No festivals, no clubs, and very little music. After releasing four songs in 2020 and 2021, Marvico felt a strong dissonance towards both his own music and the project.
After over a year and a half without releasing music and playing shows, Marvico is finally back form his hiatus. Announcing his comeback at Parken 2022, the artist has promised a new sound and a bunch of music in the coming months.
